About the project
St Albans Hospital is undergoing work on a new theatre ward block. The building, which when completed will have brand new state-of-the-art operating theatres, is using both Klasse G-board and C-board in its construction.

Practical Considerations
Klasse G-board is lightweight, easy to cut and has great weatherability, it even comes with a 12 month exposure guarantee for every board.
Klasse C-board is strong and robust, with high racking strength and high impact resistance too, which is ideal for the upper levels of the build.
Both are a great choice for the contractor, who needed these different boards for different sections of the construction. In addition to this, both C-board and G-board are A1 rated for fire safety and have been put through rigorous testing to ensure they meet the highest safety standards required.
